Re: Herr Inslee and Sideshow Bob at it again…

Article also says that they're considering adding a proposal that would require registration of already existing guns. These people make me sick.

Re: Concealed Weapons Permit

Did mine online this month and received it 7 days later through the SPD website. I was quite surprised how fast they got that out to me. Also nice I don't have to laminate it this time. After you have applied for your permit you can click on the link at the top of the page to track the progress of ...

^ I can see that w/ new domestically produced mags, but AK mags (& other foreign surplus mags) have no such marks.

Re: Washington Large Capacity Magazine Ban Starts 7.1.2022

It has always been my understanding that a private individual can sell to someone in another state. It is on the buyer to comply w/ the laws in their own state. An FFL holder is required to abide by all laws in every state when it comes to selling. Yeah, it's way beyond confusing. Also, being that m...

Re: Washington Mag Ban

I gotta say, I think there is a very good chance that this whole mag ban rule gets overturned with the lawsuit that was already filed vs State of WA due to the new Supreme Court ruling yesterday. Even though the case involved concealed carry in NY, the way Clarence Thomas wrote the ruling, it is fa...

Looks like quite a custom job... https://www.1911forum.com/threads/nash-bridges-nighthawk.1001312/#post-12962318 SFPD Inspector Nash Bridges (Don Johnson) uses a highly customized 1911A1 pistol in .38 Super with a two port compensator. The gun was designed by Jim Zubiena, and built at Mac's .45 Shop...

Re: Body armor

I did a bunch of reading on different armor types, hard vs soft etc. I ended up going with GT2 Duritium plates from Shot Stop & a Shellback Banchee carrier. If I were to go soft armor I would've went with Body Armor Direct. They make their stuff here in the US & when you call, the owner answers & is...

Re: Glock 20 blowing up from hot loads

I remember reading several threads about this on a few gun forums when I 1st got my G20 a dozen years ago or so. The concensus was, as stated above, that using reloads looked to be the main issue. The well known 'Glock smile' caused by the stressing of the brass in the less-supported feed ramp. The ...

Re: Who is a AK expert, just traded into a poly tech

Is it stamped or milled? Need more info & a few pics would help. Gunbroker is pretty crazy but if you check the 'sold' auctions it at least gives you an idea. Polytechs are sky-high right now, especially double folders etc. There are some sellers on there who are shooting for the moon though. I woul...

Re: KHQ Reports Washington State has 800% Increase in Gun Sales

Even body armor has long lead times for many companies, people are freaked out. Especially after seeing how useless some city/state 'leaders' are in protecting their own citizens.

Re: RIDICULOUS PRICES!

We had three years of rock bottom prices on everything. New ARs under $400, mags, ammo and parts being sold for blowout prices. So much that a couple of major manufacturers went bankrupt. Then a crisis happens.(COVID) Millions of people who didn’t own guns, bought them. NICS checks made Obama era l...

Re: WA or ID

If it weren't for family obligations I would be packing boxes right now to move to Idaho. There are only two advantages to living in Wa over ID, higher wages & no state income tax(yet). Gun laws here have taken a few hits with 594 & 1639 & there's several anti-gun bills that have been introduced thi...

Re: Has anyone else noticed this theme?

Apparently people are paying some of the crazy prices, especially on primers. Damn, if I only knew I'd have bought a pallet. But, it would be a stupid man to sell an item for less than what it costs to replace it, especially in this market. It's simple really, buy or don't buy. How a seller handles ...

Re: Gun trader community

Prices are up, as usual during these times. If people didn't learn over all these years how to ride the wave then don't bitch cause someone won't sell you a gun at 1/2 the price it takes to replace it in the current market. I got bit myself with reloading components. This time around is a double wha...
