Re: New Magpul 60 round Magazine
Meh. I don't see the practicality of those or the drum mags. I won't take a second look at a used rifle that comes with a drum or extended magazine. Or a bumpfire stock too. It may not be rational but I figure that a rifle that comes with bump stock or extended mag has been used hard.

Re: Is this a good deal on AK with extras?
Seems a bit steep. Check Atlanticfirearms.com out. You can get yugo npaps for $500 plus tax and transfer, opaps for $600 + tax and transfer. They even have used wasr's for $469+ tax and transfer. If you have it shipped to an FFL in Idaho you don't pay tax either. Maybe $600 for the entire package. E...

Re: new glocks
Well whatever single stack 9mm glock makes it will sell like hot cakes because glock has an undeniably and sometimes irrationally loyal fan base.
Just out of curiosity, is it just a simple preference for glocks or do they offer something that other makers such as kahr, s&w, taurus and keltec do not?

Re: These look rlike fun.
Going to be a while anyway, they are bidding over $1,000 on gunbroker. Some greedy dealers are setting the BIN at $1300, that's $450 over msrp. Maybe by summer the stupidity will let up. We saw the same stupidity with people paying over msrp for keltec crap. Eventually supply will catch up with dem...

I thought 922r doesn't apply to pistols.
Either way I think I will be getting one. Looks pretty dang fun.

Re: Why are so many AR-15's for sale ?
Like was said above, lots of people bought rifles and receivers up during the gun panic and now that there is no imminent fear of confiscation people are selling. Add to that, when components became readily available, people started buying parts up to assemble them in their garage and then sell them...

Nothing oddball about that. Just pure awesomeness. A schoefield in 38 spl is on my list of guns I need.pirateer2007 wrote:1871 S&W Model 3 American chambered in .44 American serial # 64XX and as they started at #1 this was one of S&Ws first 6500 .44s ever made.

There's a little video of it being shot, doesn't look like it's too bad to shoot.

Lonewolf glock 35 - refinished
I got this glock a couple weeks back. It had laser etched flames, not really into that kind of flashy so I took it to firearm finishing and had him give it a working over. Now it doesn't have the crazy flames. I think it looks much better now. From this: http://i1175.photobucket.com/albums/r633/John...

Firearmfinishing A+++
Took my glock 35 to Scott at firearm finishing yesterday to have it worked on. It had laser etched flames that were just a bit too much for me and he was able to almost completely remove them with some polishing and bead blasting. He also was able to have it back in my hands just a couple hours late...

Nice. I had the same problem with Glocks. Never was a fan of the way they pointed since I'm more of a 1911 guy. Looks like I have the big brother of you gun.

Re: Question about blade legality
I don't think a concealed pistol permit covers you for knives. I have automatics and butterfly knives that I carry whenever I feel like it. My main workhorse is a Bradley mayhem bali. They way I figure it is I don't plan on doing anything to get arrested so I'm ok. It's all how you act. If you have ...

Re: can someone explain pricing of firearms????
Some start high to have wiggle room but some of those sellers are dummies who paid more than it was worth in the first place. Then there are the guys who check gunbroker to find out the highest asking price and then don't check to what they sell for. And last there are the scammers just looking for ...

Nice looking gun. Can't argue with the crisp clean single action trigger of a 1911.
