I have used a couple Boyds stocks, including an AT-One and I've been very happy with how they have turned out. For the money you get a pretty nice stock. I would buy them again.

I cant remember what the die is called but there are special dies for semi auto use. It's been a little while since used them.

Small base dies. You shouldn't need them to load reliable ammo for an AR-15 though.

Open the action after firing the first round and see if the hammer is cocked or not. I'm guessing not, in which case, like thumper said, its probably the disconnector isn't grabbing the hammer.
