Re: Boyd's Stocks?
Thanks. Now, the next question: Did you bed them? I've seen some guys who needed to shave off the insides and then bedded, and then again, some guys just slapped it on. Both of the Boyds stocks I have were drop-in replacements. That's not to say they might night benefit from being bedded, but the d...

Re: Boyd's Stocks?
I have used a couple Boyds stocks, including an AT-One and I've been very happy with how they have turned out. For the money you get a pretty nice stock. I would buy them again.

Re: Another AR talk
For the most part different brands of parts should fit together just fine. There will always be exceptions though. A more likely situation, which may or may not concern you, is that the color may not match perfectly between different brands of parts. If you are worried about it just order your lower...

Re: Initiative 1639 - Important WA Legislation
Fairly tragic legislation you all have been hosed with. Like California you are rapidly losing your state. When your vote no longer matters its time to vote with your feet and take your pocketbook elsewhere. I'm a fifth generation farmer, packing up and leaving isn't really an option for me unless ...

Small base dies. You shouldn't need them to load reliable ammo for an AR-15 though.ghillieinthemist wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 2:20 pmI cant remember what the die is called but there are special dies for semi auto use. It's been a little while since used them.

Re: Budget long range scope
A friend of mine has one of these: http://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms ... pa4-14xffp
He uses it on a Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor for shooting at 1,000 yards. That scope performs WAY above its price point.

Open the action after firing the first round and see if the hammer is cocked or not. I'm guessing not, in which case, like thumper said, its probably the disconnector isn't grabbing the hammer.

Lower Receiver Engraving
I have a couple AR -15 pistols that will become SBRs, I'm waiting for the paperwork to get back from the ATF.
Who in the Spokane area would be good to go to to get the engraving done?

Rock River Arms is makes complete 458 SOCOM parts, everything from just barrels to complete rifles. There are some other companies as well such as Wilson Combat, SBR Ammunition, etc. Your quickest and easiest will be with Rock River though. Re: yet another build... which caliber?
What 308 suppressor can i get that is the best bang for the buck? YHM Phantom. Stainless steel if you want to save money, titanium flavor if you want to save weight. In either case talk to Kolat. Also if you haven't decided what caliber you want to go with give 458 SOCOM a thought. Its a lot differ...
