I saw this on the news recently and they stated that initially she reported 40 guns stolen but now it may be as high as 200. I have not yet purchased my first gun but to me its going to be like my car, my baby... I guess if I had over 200 cars, I might not notice losing 40 of them. But how many guns...

My license is still valid until 2012. Some articles that I read stated that the turn around on the waiting period was only a few minutes in most cases because the FBI moved to a computer system for the background check.
