Done.... And for the love of God, guns and Freedom take the few minutes to do at least this.

Re: Take action
Received this e-mail from Andy Billig today.
"Thank you for your email. I respect and support the 2nd amendment, and believe the rights guaranteed in it can, and should, coexist with common sense safety measures. I will certainly keep your comments in mind should SB 5050 or HB1134 come before me for consideration on the Senate floor..
Thank you, again, for your imput."
All my best,
Andy

I believe I will reply to this and ask him what he considers "common sense safety measures".

Aside from being unable to spell, Andy is obviously anti-second amendment. And by default a liar. Common sense safety measures is how liberals label "assault" rife bans, high capacity magazine bans, confiscation without due legal process, etc. etc. etc.

Re: Take action
My response to Senator Billig:
Senator Billig,
Thank you for taking your time to respond to my concerns about SB5050 and HB1134. I appreciate the fact you are willing to communicate with your constituents concerning the issues being faced by the legislature and public.
If I could, please, bother you to expand on what you consider a common sense safety measure. By your statement below, I do not infer you are in support of a total gun ban or extreme restrictions as being common sense measures, but it does leave me to wonder what you do consider common sense safety. Obviously we want to keep any kind of dangerous weapon out of the control of dangerous people, children, etc. So at this time do you consider either of these two bills to be common sense?
Again, thank you for your time and kind response.
Senator Billigs response to me:
Neither bill has come before me for consideration so I have not reviewed them in depth but I can tell you the types of measures I have supported in the past. I supported the Extreme Risk Protection initiative that pass our state recently as well as the initiative that required background checks on all gun purchases. I have also supported bills that create a waiting period for someone to retrieve their gun after a significant mental health event.

With his support of the other measures he listed, I believe it is safe to assume these two bills are "common sense".
