Wonder why they don't provide a link to the 2017 letter as they do for the 2015 letter. :o

NRA-ILA also fails to provide a link, guess I'll keep looking.

From what I can understand of this the letter is only addressing the Sig brace. Being as the Shockwave Blade pistol stabilizer has no strap supplied and is intended to be fixed (with a screw) to a receiver extension.

This page appears to address my question about the Shockwave. :( Kinda what I suspected...

I wondered that myself. The 2015 letter was an 'open letter' and is easily accessible through the ATF's website. The letter that many firearms websites are referencing appears to be this:

https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/wp-co ... .21.17.pdf

From my cyber-sleuthing (Google) it looks like the letter was addressed to a specific inquiry and isn't posted on the ATF's website. Hopefully another 'open letter' will be published by the ATF and posted.

Looks like you responded while I was editing my previous post.

I may need to get a Sig brace. If this letter appears. ;)

From KAK's web site. http://shockwavetechnologies.com/site/?p=3524

Seems the Shockwave should be good to go, haven't seen a letter yet though...
