Logging at Suncrest

Post by pannekattack » Tue Jul 15, 2014 3:13 pm

DNR is logging the lower half of Suncrest making it essentially inaccessible....at least to a vehicle with little to no clearance. We were able to find a way up top to the range but it was pretty sporty.

No posted signs saying the area was closed just a "logging in progess" caution sign.

Just a heads up for anyone planning on heading out there this week. I didn't see this posted on the forum so I figured I would get the word out.

Suncrest is getting worse and worse. there have been 2 big piles of trash for the last month or so that have been getting more and more re-scattered. why cant people bring their own targets and then pick up after themselves. is it that hard?

I was there today and it didn't look bad at all. I didn't go to far in. The road has a lot of ruts.
