Great. Just another reason to shut it down. I wonder what ammo and targets they were using.

Hmmm. Tannerite? Tracers? Steel jacket shooting at steel targets? Another jackass who just HAD to drive in and his catalytic converter set the brush on fire like a few years ago?
Pick your stupid action and let's see who was closest when they investigate it.

I'm so tired of these idiots using exploding targets!!!!!! You filthy SOBs are going to ruin it for the rest of us. Don't make the DNRs decision to close down their ranges any easier. If the shooters were SGT members you should be ashamed of yourselves.

100% agreement here!!!!!! I'm sick of this crap with jack wagons who just have to do stupid stuff because it's fun. I like fun, I get fun, but at some point you have to think of something other than your own damn fun!!!!

I don't like to play big brother any more than anyone else, but if you see someone doing this stuff call in and report it. Get a pic of the vehicle, write down a license plate. This time of year I won't go out there without a shovel and fire extinguisher aboard.

Speak up and help stop it or we all loose.

I completely agree with you all. I was thinking about heading out there myself but decided against due to how dry everything was. That and people shooting over my head from the top of the little bluff/ridge.

I was out there a few years ago and some people showed up that just looked like they were going to do stupid stuff. I was in the pit shooting at the ridge and hill. They were up on the right closer to the combine and couldn't see them. All of the sudden there was an explosion. It was not just tannerite. I went up and looked and it was some kind of pressure cylinder that they shot. We got out of there quick.
