Any one huntin yotes?

Ordered a new yote gun, Kimber Pro Varmint in 22-250. It should be here Tues or Wed of next week. Was supposed to be here today or so but had some internet- FFL problems.

All cleared up and on the way now.

Went out last week had one come into about 150 yds but could get a shot. Its to cold I was freezing my butt off. Ill go out again once it warms up a little.

Not really sure. Just before the cold snap I did pretty good with howls. I've thrown the book at them lately and not much reaction. I'm sure I'm just in a little slump.

Kinda funny way more people road wacking these days. When I'm just traveling to and from they run thousand yards off. No problem with that style of hunting I just have to hide the truck a little better.

We didn't see a thing, other than 2 on the run waaay out there while driving from stand to stand. 4 stands that day. Maybe they were all nestled all snug in their beds.

Kill around 100 a year. This time of year focus on coyote vocals, female distress, non threatening howls. For distress focus on rodent, bird noises.
