Hello everyone I need some help!

So this will be my first year hunting me and my brother and I was wondering if anyone knows where a good General area is to hunt at in the colville national forest we plan on getting the tag to hunt everything. But we want to get a elk But iv been looking at maps and iv been there be for years ago and I know it's huge so any help would be awesome! and I'm not asking to give me your spot just a good area to hunt I'm more then willing to work for it thanks everyone!

Thanks for the info and yeah I got a map that's kinda older tho but I'll stop by there and ask for one. Did the fire last year effect any of the area up there ? I know it was around colville area

You BUY the Colville NF map at the BLM Office off Fancher; lots of other good federal public land info. You maybe able to BUY a Colville NF map at REI, too.

The WDFW Office off Discovery Place in Spokane Valley has the info. via a FREE handout on E. WA elk hunting and other FREE hunting info., as well.

I have a 30-06 and I sighted in at 100 yards. It's flat enough that it can be easily compensated for up to 400 yards

I sight all mine 2"to 3" high at 100 usually spot on @ 300
