How do you hunt bears?

Post by Noobie » Thu Aug 10, 2017 7:38 pm

I know a lot of people hunt them a lot of different ways. Do you cover ground? glass? Call them in? Sit down near a berry patch? This will be my first season really trying for a bear and would like some input pre season

I know everyone's thinkin' it, so I'll say it now and get it out of the way...

....First you make some Tannerite sammiches
and then you put them in a pic-a-nik basket.

There, now the actual advice can begin. ;)

Your best bet during this time of the year is find berry patches and glass. It's hot and they are always hungry so stay near their food source and water. Good luck. 18 more days until I get to hunt bears for 4 days straight then onto Idaho Elk archery.
