Help me decide...

Post by Pacific5th » Sun Dec 17, 2017 1:19 pm

What to get. I’m thinking of a Ruger American 762x39. I already have a 2-7 Leupold sitting around that would go great on it and I would like something in a commie round. Or I can get a 1911 like a Springfield Milspec or a Ruger LW commander. I had a LW commander before but traded it away like a idiot. I already have a 4” XDs so I would not be gaining anything with another 45 besides just having another 45.

Help me decide guys.

Thanks,
kevin

Ruger American would be the cheaper option. I’d go with the Ruger 1911 over a Springer Mil-spec.

Palmetto State Armory has AWESOME 1911's, if they are in stock. Best 1911 for the money IMHO...
Good Luck

Believe I had something to do with both the 1911 Ruger and the Leupold 2x7. Howa makes a compact 1500 in 7.62x39 that can be had at about the same price as the American. Good luck Kevin.

#1Ruger American 762x39. Tack driver, and threaded for a Can if you want some quietness. Cheep as hell to shoot and can except 20rd ruger mini thirty mags
#2 Or a springfield 1911 if you want another 45.

Another vote for Howa mini action. I have one in 6.5 Grendel and it's a tack driver...
