A. General Dwight D. Eisenhower
B. General George Washington
C. General George S. Patton
D. General George C. Marshall

I think this question got skipped. Been reading through these and getting stumped way more often than not!
It's unfortunate that so many have succumb to the propaganda and new age terrorism. Most of you believed the 2nd amendment gave teeth to our ability to fight for our rights. Now through coercion on a massive scale, you want to restrict our freedoms because of your fear.

Well now I'm confused. When I read that question my guess was D. General George C. Marshall

When I didn't see the answer on here I looked it up and came up with an answer of George Washington.......

Someone needs to drop some knowledge or be a better guesser. Also where did you find that tidbit?

the key is while active duty, Washington held a higher rank, but not until well after he was dead. The correct answer is Pershing
