New Bumping Policy...

Postby Huskyoff » Tue Apr 23, 2013 6:06 am

You are only allowed to bump your posts every other day. People that bump more often will be reminded of this policy, then warned, then banned 1 day...etc.

Exceptions are:

Sold Items - Bumping to report an item sold - Allowing us to find and remove it faster.
New Price - Bumping to announce a lower price. - You must legitimately change the price, not $1, or something.
Package Change - Adding or removing items to the deal. - Must be a legit package change.

For example, I've unintentionally bumped one of my ads a couple times in the last couple days in posting updates to it. Item A pending, item B sold, etc. I update the original post and post a quick reply stating the status changes. It's not like a "bump" reply just to keep it on top.

That would be an up date and not a bump... ;)

Listing items in a vertical manner simplifies reading items and editing in original post
example: edit original post
1.. item 500 sold
2.. Item 100 pending
3.. item 50.00

Then a new reply labeled updated. This is not a bump to move the item to the top as long as the edit date & time and new reply date & time are the same.

If a member bumps sooner than the time laid out in this policy, expect to see that bump deleted. :|

If the user is not breaking the rules then this is a non issue. Bladebum says he is not, and I believe him.

To fully explain the exceptions, they have been updated to:

Exceptions are:

Sold Items - Bumping to report an item sold - Allowing us to find and remove it faster.
New Price - Bumping to announce a lower price. - You must legitimately change the price, not $1, or something.
Package Change - Adding or removing items to the deal. - Must be a legit package change.
