I have a Sierra Second Edition with a copyright date of 1978, A Lyman 46th first printing 1982 6th printing 1988 and a Speer #11, 1987. Somewhere I have a Speer #10 but not sure which box it is in (still packed from moving). All this makes sense as I started reloading in the early 80's and I purchased all these manuals myself, not hand downs.

Good lord! Those sound like my new ones!

I have bought a Lee manual and a couple of Lyman cast bullet manuals in the past 5 years, but most of my 50-year old stuff is still good. My favorite is the Speer #11.

Bound printed manual? Probably 15-20 years old.
HOWEVER, I have some I've downloaded off the net that are 30 or 40 years old. Like the old IMR and the old Herco load manuals. Do those count?

I came across an old Hornady reloading manual at an auction several years ago, looked to be signed by Mr. Hornady himself. I think it was dated in the 60's, real nice shape. I tried bidding on it but dropped out when the price got too high for me. IIRC it went for $100+.

Not sure how old it is but I have a first edition Lee reloading handbook. Paperback pamphlet size. 98 pages and covers rifle, pistol, and shotgun. Price printed on the cover is .98 cents (and I just realized that my keyboard doesn't have a "cents" symbol). From the ads in the back: Lee powder measure kit, $3.95. Lee chamfer tool, 95 cents. Lee primer pocket cleaners, 49 cents . Lee case trimmers, $1.25. Those were the days.

This was given to my son. Speer #6.
Interesting to see that they seem to have similar issues back in 64' as we are having now.
If you didn't notice it was published in Spokane too.

Speer #8
From what I have read I'd be pretty cautious about using data from that one. The Speer #8 is notorious for having some "nuclear" load recipes. Not saying you shouldn't use them, just suggesting comparing any loads you get from that particular version against other data before loading it up.

Like others here, the oldest I have is stuff I've downloaded off the net from IMR and Hercules - mostly from the 80's.
