I do, it's my go to powder for 5.56. I get better velocity than Varget, and it actually meters well out of my Dillon.

I am loading 77gr CCs to near max published 5.56 data(way over 223) and have zero pressure issues.

I haven't yet. My go to is 77gr CCs, and SMKs. I have loaded them to max published 5.56 data, zero issues.

Going to try some 55s, probably shoot for 26.5-27gr. I may try some slower velocity stuff for plinking. But then push some to see where they max out when it's warmer out.

I picked up two 1 pounders of CFE223 and 5000 Primers at Cabelas. The primers were on sale for 19.99! bullets from blasted brass. and over the past few months have accumulated about 3000 empties of range brass.

I have been loading 55gr fmj at 27 even to get around 3k fps out of an 18" 1:7 - OAL as specified in the data sheet at 2.200 - run good, as always YRMV.

Thanks,

Matt

That's perfect I have an 18" barrel with 1/8 twist as well. I was going to start out at 26.5 per you tube obervations.

I use it, but i do not like it. I get a fairly accurate load, shooting about 1 inch at 100 with a 6x scope. I am loading 26.9gr covered with a 55gr Hornady varmint round. What i dont like is that even though i get good accuracy, my SD is horrible. From a good lot i am around 21, and a bad lot has me in the 50's.
