Just got a Stevens Model 87A from my dad. From the research I've tried doing, I'm guessing the rifle was made between 1945 and 1948. Anyone know anything about this rifle? I cleaned it up but haven't shot it yet.
Not sure how to resize the pictures I have of it.

used to have one. good little 22. there was a suspect spring in the system that I found after some internet research, but it was readily available at the time for about 5 bucks. Numrich I think. If you want more onfo, call Bob at 509 292 9527.
