Cheap portable target stand

2 inch PVC pipe, 1X1 wood strips

fill with water or sand in windy areas, the cross pvc could be cut in the center with a slip joint then it could be stowed in car trunk. Mine is 40 inches wide, I've never had it move in windy locations. my cost was less than $10.

Nice... Can't beat PVC and a couple of sticks to make cheap target stands. I break mine down and transport to the range in a duffle bag. Thank you for sharing your design... :D

I messed with a clumsy contraption for several years (many of us have been there)
then about 2 years ago I ran across a few pictures that someone had posted on the internet
so simple but not that easy to think of :-)

Got the gong from G3ntleB3n on here, but heres my mobile shooting gong. Tested it out last weekend and it worked flawlessly... Until my dummy friend shot it with a 30.06!
