Based on you guys' feedback I've done some more looking around and stumbled across "Amish" belts. Do you guys know anything about these? They seem to be pretty heavy duty but fairly inexpensive.

My wife just bought one of these after we went to the website, she needed a good belt for her .357, the cheap one from army surplus just wasn't working any more for her conceal holster. It just showed up today and said it was one of the best belts she has ever purchased. She said she doesn't think she will ever need another one, unless she spills transmission fluid on it, but that is another story.

I just bought one of these. Very nice quality, double layer leather belt. Holds my IWB holster securely and looks nice enough to wear for dress attire.

So, it's been about a year and I thought I'd update this thread. I ended up getting one of the "Amish belts" I linked to above, and I don't carry very often but when I do the belt works great but I do wear the belt everyday and its both solid and comfortable. For the money, I think they are a great deal!

Go with the Belt Man, bought one of his elephant hide belts over 7 years ago and it looks and performs just like new. I wear it everyday. Expensive yes, but haven't had to go belt shopping in a long time and don't see myself going anytime soon. Thanks Belt Man for your superior products.
