This is a video of a glock 17 that's been converted to full auto (legally I presume) with a 22 TCM9R conversion slide and barrel. What this accomplishes is a full auto pistol that is much more controllable and therefore more accurate when firing full auto in the 22 TCM9R chambering than it would be in 9mm. The 22TCM9R is more powerful than the 5.7x28 FN and develops over 2000 fps out of a 5 inch barrel with a 40 grain bullet.
The 5.7 FN will develop similar velocities but with lighter weight bullets and often 5.7 FN velocities are listed as being higher but are velocities out of the longer PS90 carbine barrels rather than the 4.8 inch length five-seven pistol barrel. But bottom line is that the 22TCM9R is more powerful than the 5.7 FN but has much less muzzle rise when fired full-auto out of a pistol.
I also think that this 22 TCM9R conversion would be fun even in a semi-auto pistol. It has very little recoil and is flat-shooting out well past 50 yards. The difference, however, between the regular 22 tcm that is chambered in the Rock Island 1911-based pistols and the 22TCM9R which is a difeernt round with a blunter bullet and a shorter overall length so that if will fit and feed out of a Glock 9mm magazine.

22 TCM9R Glock conversion
Government is not reason, it is not eloquence — it is force. Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.
