This is my AO as I bought it. I'm in the process of overhauling it, so more photos will be forthcoming.

Re: 1911 Photos
OK, I'll play.
This is an early Colt Delta Elite in 10mm that was sent off to a guy by the name of Ted Yost for some magic. Since I got it back about 6 years ago it has been my daily carry. It was originally stainless and I had it refinished in hard chrome because I knew it wouldn't sit in the safe. The one thing I have never liked about 1911s is the big ole swoopy aftermarket beavertails. I had Ted grind mine down some to get rid of that swoopy stuff. The beavertail is an Ed Brown Memory groove that has been reshaped and the bumps smoothed to one bump. Another nice touch, at least I think so, is the gold line inlay in the front sight. It makes it very visible in almost all lighting conditions, not so well in pitch black. It is sporting a Schuemann AET gain twist bull barrel that started life as a 40 S&W and was reamed for the 10mm. It also has a EGW flat bottom firing pin stop which I think every 1911 should have installed. Google it and read about it.
And finally, the requisite artsy-fartsy picture that Masonryman has come to expect in the photos here!
