Newman lake was pretty good today
Took a friend and went to Newman lake today for a couple of hours. Did ok. We caught 5 bass and a nice crappie, with the biggest bass 21" and about 4lbs. Let one 16" bass go and had another smaller one "self release" as well. We got there about 7:45am and fished for about 3hrs. Have pics, will try to post later.

Did OK on the crappie at Newman today. Caught one of the biggest ones Ive ever caught, nearly 13". Got to go deal with them now.
