Sullivan Lake
Has anyone been fishing at Sullivan Lake this spring? Planning a trip up there this weekend and would like to know what fish are biting up there and what they are biting on.

Re: Sullivan Lake
I fished that lake quite a few times as a kid. Always from the shore. There are supposedly a lot of trout in there but we never caught anything. I've heard of people doing well trolling from a boat. Good luck.

Re: Sullivan Lake
Troll for kokanee, they will likely be small but perfect for smoking and canning. Double check the regs, but I believe it is a 10 kokanee limit. Good luck.

Re: Sullivan Lake
Some very large and under fished brown trout are said to be in the lake. I suspect trolling with a rapala or similar plugs could result in success.

Well, there were a few breaks in the weather up there this weekend. Trolled using some spinners and ended up with a couple of trout.

Sounds like a great time. Any chance you get to be on the water, whether you catch fish or not, is a great time.drdave158 wrote:Well, there were a few breaks in the weather up there this weekend. Trolled using some spinners and ended up with a couple of trout.
