It’s been a while since I posted some defensive blade stuff. While I’m not a big fan of “gimmick” knives, there are a few that posses some strong combative attributes. I’ve been working with the Benchmade SOCP dagger for a while and find the design has a lot going for it as a last ditch defensive blade. What’s also great is that BM makes a matched trainer that fits in the same sheath as the live blade! I have also been training with a couple Spyderco Delicas with a Wise Men Company Signet Ring back spacer. I put them on my Delica Wave, Delica Warnie, and Delica Trainer as well as my Spyderco Matriarch Wave. There is always something new to train with and spend money on!
