Which army surplus? What models? I picked up a couple when I was in Sweden, but have never found them locally in the area.

He only has the Companion and one other smaller Mora right now. I picked up the Companion. I ended up spending about $3 more than I could have got it for off of Amazon because shipping is $6 or so, but I'm cool with that. I am going to use the heck out of it and if I love it buy several more at one time online to save on the shipping. So far I'm really digging it!

Here is a pic of my new Mora. I'm going to try it as a EDC. I love the sheath and how it can ride so discreetly.

Yeah, I know I spent more than I had to but he has them in stock and I don't mind supporting local businesses. I am a mechanic for the state and I carried the Mora all day and I found myself using it all throughout the day and it worked like a champ. My EDC up til now has been a Zero Tolerance 300 folder. The shape and how thin the blade on the Mora is just cuts better. Also I seem to have much more control. I definitely plan on ordering a couple more online. I want to try the carbon HD companion and a Bushcraft.

After using my Mora the last couple days I have become obsessed with it. I just ordered a Mora Bushcraft black with the DLC blade coating and a Mora HD Companion carbon. These knives are incredible for the $$. I am loving the scandi grind's cutting ability. I wish I would have tried the Mora's a long time ago! I have several expensive folding knives that weigh more than these Mora's and cost 5x as much.
