Re: Winchester 9mm (rim fire) Shotgun Model 36
I have a book with some info on that gun and the ammo and ammo boxes. Was introduced in 1920 and discontinued in 1927 with 20,000 produced. was chambered for 9mmrim fire shot in both Long and Short loads as well as 9mm lead round ball.
I recently had a chance to buy a box of antique ammo for that gun and foolishly did not. This book says that most of them ended up in South America. If interested the book is called "One Hundred Years of Winchester Cartridge Boxes" 1856-1956.
Hope this helps P.S. there are two boxes of ammo for sale in GB right now.
