Were they in a gun safe?

That's good to hear. So, did you have them in a gun safe or not? I'm just curious because so far I haven't heard of anyone having their guns stolen from a safe around here.

negative on the safe...

most are, some are not.

obviously changing some tactics.
I'm sure Ill get lectured on not, but Ive always said it does you no good in the safe when ya need it.
cop even kinda agreed, a fine line to walk. If something serious were to happen, carry pistols are always a (get to your rifle) weapon, purely defensive and very limited in ammo/mags/round count and overall save your butt firepower. By the time you get the safe open your pistol mags are probably empty.

I have some changes to make... call this a learning experience, and glade it was minimal.

I open my safe every night before I go to bed.

After finding a meth zombie in my house and I had to beat him with a coat tree, I learned to have my safe open.
and a pistol on my nightstand.

It's a trap! Don't fall for the old " I'll show you the coat tree" trick!

Nicely done. Was it a coat tree with nails driven through it?
