Re: Allow Teachers to Carry?
I have mixed emotions on this subject 1st a armed person be it a volunteer or a guard employed by the school has one main duty. In the case of trouble the guard must go looking for the source of trouble instantly. No standing around waiting for instructions. Having armed teachers looking for the sou...

SHTF go to firearm
This you tube I found by accident, it enforces my 54 year old opinion of the M16 platform. If you by any chance own one of these things you will find the you-tube interesting, if you were issued a 1st or 2nd generation I suspect you might be like me and wouldn't have one in the house. As a go to SHT...

Re: Cheap 22lr bolt gun ideas
Go to any gun shop and look at their used 22s.
Very rare to find a old 22 with a shot out barrel.
Very common to find old 22s that look like smooth-bores
due to years of lead and copper buildup

Re: How to verify a 03 FFL
I'm long time 03 holder
The buyer must give you a copy of his 03, I always give a copy of my drivers license
all legal weapons are not listed. Has to be at least 50 years old
And yes Washington state recognizes 03 licenses

Insurance! many do not know that you can add firearms to your home insurance, a insurance rider will cost about 5 percent of what the NRA charges

Re: A little info
Interesting read, which only raises the question "How many bears have been shot with a handgun and the shooter went home and kept his mouth shut"
I don't hunt anymore however whenever I venture into bear country I ain't packing a handgun☺

Revolver Trigger Time When the Weather is Crappy
This is a old NRA tip from the 60's, that I suspect many of you know. All that is needed is some primed brass & canning wax (paraffine) melt a 1/4 to a 1/3 inch of wax in a flat pan (pie plate) let harden Push the open end of the primed brass into the wax (just like cutting wads) set up a paper targ...

Re: Remington 721 Accuracy
If a good cleaning doesn't work (I doubt if it will) and if messing with the stock screws doesn't help (it might) your next step would be to shim up the action where a dollar bill slides from the action to the end of the stock. last but not least have a good gunsmith (check muzzle crown) and chamber...

Re: 6.5 creeemor brass
Don't know about prices but I reload the 6.5 creedmoor for a grandson, he's one of the long range shooters. It seems the brass is good for 2-3 full charge loads. Neck splits & enlarged primer pockets are to be expected. I just did a batch that I annealed "once fired brass" hopefully maybe one more l...

Re: M1 Garand enbloc clip
http://web.archive.org/web/20000620055732/home.att.net/~Masterpo/M1load.htm for pure shooting pleasure these loads at 80 to 85 percent are just fine. At longer ranges you will find the old girl really shines with boat tails and 90-95 percent loads. You can find free take down info and even copies o...

Re: M1 Garand enbloc clip
If you are going to fire the M1 be advised you should research the type of loads you can fire in it. Modern hunting loads for the most part burn to fast and you will bend the operating rod.

Re: Best 45ACP Suppressor barrel length for a rifle
My H&R 45 colt is fun to play with, not quiet though.
The weakest part of my H&R is the brass
on the other hand I have whisper loads in 22 hornet, that sound like 22 shorts.
Heard tell of a 8mm mauser action used to fire 45 apc a few years ago
