Re: When sh*t hits the fan....

I know its a zombie thread...came back from the dead. But just assume someone will be willing to burn your house down to keep you from having what you have if they can't take it. Start from that point on...That's when the sh*t get blown out the fan and comes back for round two. Obviously someone wo...

Re: Backpack / BOB stove

MSR Pocket Rocket has been my backpacking stove for years. My pack is the Gregory Baltoro and my wife's is the Gregory Deva. When fitted properly these are very comfortable for 10+ mile hikes, carrying 35+lbs and doing 3,000-4,000 feet of elevation per day. Get fitted for a pack...buying cool brands...

OP, are you shooting left or right handed?

Are you using the tip of your finger or the pad of your finger?

Re: The Spokane Gun Show

Attended the Reno gun show last weekend... same type of results seen in Spokane & the last Missoula show... low buyer turnout... many table holders not covering expenses. Several dealers & collectors from Spokane area there too.... talked to them all, and they echoed what I experienced... guess we'...

Re: Thoughts on Polymer lowers

I got a used ATI complete lower from a member here about 4 years ago. It appears that there were zero changes made to it before I got it in trade. I put a blem upper on that and had my son's first AR completed for about $400.00. After thousands of rounds from my son, and an unknown number before him...

Re: Obama Believes that Shooting Someone is the Only Gun Crime.

Read that title again. Then read what he just said as a justification for commuting the sentences of dozens and dozens of criminals in federal penitentiaries that used guns in aggravated felonies. This week President Obama commuted the sentences of 214 violent felons serving hard time. The total in...

Re: I'm not a huge 1911 fan but...

Sig has had a few different target models. If it has the skeletonized hammer, adjustable rear sight, fiber optic front sight and is stainless...it is certainly a worthwhile trade. They're really solid 1911s.

Re: Value evaluation

$1,000 rifle new...expect less than that since it's not rare nor exceptionally desired. Chambered in 6.5C would add to the desirability. The scope adds no value whatsoever sadly. Ask $850 and expect to dicker a bit.

Re: post falls gun show question

I wasn't going to go but now I want to, just so I can make up my own mind as to whether the post falls shows are any good or not. There are too many times that I've read on these forums where many people said the last gun show at the fairgrounds sucked the big one and yet where I went to the same s...

Same reason I drink 18 year single malts. I like them.

Mostly target shooting with my kids...a tradition in my family for a very long time.

George is a good guy but he doesn't like it when you call him a Liberal. He doesn't like to be pigeonholed. He's also probably a little embarrassed about it. I know I would be. :D Actually I looked into it. The Quran does not allow for you to be completely forgiven of past mistakes. In that regard,...

Tattoos are haram in Islam. So if these fellas had tattoos, they are not Muslim fundies. Not necessarily. It is haram for a devout Muslim to GET a tattoo, however there is nothing forbidding a person who already has a tattoo from CONVERTING to Islam. And once they have converted they can be just as...
