Reloading die storage
I used to get frustrated looking for all my die parts, dummy rounds, notes and everything else I like to keep together with my dies. I started purchasing fishing tackle boxes for my dies and junk. They are a Plano3650 model that I was getting at Cabelas for $20.00 for a 4 pack. They give you plenty o...

Re: Buying powder
Yes Powder Valley is in Kansas. I recently purchased an 8# keg of Varget and an 8# keg of CFE 223 in separate orders.. With shipping, hazmat and all I paid $26.53 a pound for the CFE and$29.36 for the Varget..Beat that at any of our local scalp shops. It pays to do some math once in awhile to get a ...

Buying powder
I have recently been purchasing my powder from Powder Valley. They seem to have what I want (Varget, CFE223 and several others)in stock and at reasonable prices. Sometimes I have to wait for it to come in to stock but usually not long. No price gouging like some of the other big name places I have s...

224 Valkyrie??
Anybody have any input on the newest razzooist cartridge from Federal, the 224 Valkyrie? I have a 6.8SPC that is begging for a new barrel assembly. There is also the new 22 Nosler??? I just am not ready to jump just yet!! The cartridge world is littered with the cases of the newest and razzooist tha...

Re: First time AR owner
Thanks all...
I have settled on the D&H mags from palmetto state...great price...and good reccomendations.
Sights, I am going to go see Rick and see what he has..I have a scope to put on there now.
I agree...too much detracts from the gun...to each their own...

Re: Savage 99
Thanks Scrappy...that was kinda my plan.
I have never had a gun without a caliber stamped somewhere.
Just thought someone might know where Savage hides them.
It is too old to be 308....I know it is 30cal. positive it is 300 savage but I will take it in for a cast.
Thanks again...

Savage 99
I recently received a Savage 99 from a family member.
Nowhere on this thing does it state caliber.
I was told it was a .300 Savage....
I cannot find a caliber stamp anywhere.
Any ideas?????

Rossi 971 .357 mag
I just recieved a Rossi Mod. 971 in 357 mag. in a trade. Like the gun but the grips are a little small for my hands. Any body have luck finding replacement grips for this revolver? I am having a devils time...nobody lists it in their lineup. Will Taurus or S&W grips fit? I thought I would try here.....

Scrappy..great guy.
Scrappy wanted what I had...he wanted me to hold till Friday. I did so because he was the first to respond to my ad.
Showed up Saturday and not only bought what I had but brought me a six pack for holding it for him. Of course it was Fat Tire Ale. LOL

Re: Your "go to" priming tool
I have used the Lee handheld to reprime literally thousands of cases. Since approx. 1984 when a friend bought it for me. Everything from .380 up to 338 Win mag. Never a feed problem nor any misfires from not having the primer seated solid. Like Ron says...no chance of contamination to your primers. ...

Re: new gun shop opening?
This new shop is great. No, they do not have oodles of crap on their shelves yet. What they do have is great people doing a great service to the gun community here in Spokane. The people here are nice family folks wanting to be a neighborhood gunshop. They are doing a superb job. Stop in and have co...
