Re: Long lake pike.
No thank you for sharing!!! I’ve wasted some money on some fancy pike lures with no result, little did I know!!! I don’t mind the travel if there’s big fish involved and THAT IS A BIG FISH! Congrats on the catch couldn’t have imagined the fight, on 10LB test to boot!

Winchester model 74
My model 74 recently stop cycling properly and I can't figure it out!! I didn't cycle it with the safety on that's not my problem but it no longer will eject spent shells. Anyone know of any place that may carry older gun parts as I can't find them online. Or anyone have a parts gun out there? And y...

Couldn't help but noticed no one mentioned the poor mans beattles! Go find a good sized ant hill nearby and tie the head to a stake or close tree and let them do the work haha

Spotlighting coyotes.
Was unaware of the state law regarding spotlighting coyotes at night as far as I can read it's only illegal when in the months of sept-dec. anyone ever try this out? the use of any man made light is illegal on the reservation so I've never tried this method. Anyone got any tips of the trade they'd b...

Anyone been finding fresh sheds?
Well after seeing both a moose and a mule deer only packing one horn over the last month or two I went out for some hikes the last week or two. Anyone finding the freshies yet? Let's see some pics!

Re: Roosevelt
Yeah, trolling is good if you're after trout. Me, I prefer to anchor and jig for walleye. Next to a good big white meat walleye fillet, trout tastes like A gob of mud full of bones... Sorry but before you chow down on Walleye you better do a little reading about the state recommended eating rate. T...

Re: Ruger Ranch vs. Mossburg MVP
I bought the ruger American predator model in 6.5 Creedmoor. For the 550 price tag I am absolutely shocked at the list of features it came with. Factory threaded 18" medium heavy barrel a adjustable trigger which I am incredibly pleased with. Not only the ease of adjustment but the quality of the tr...

Re: Roosevelt
In the warmer months 30 feet seems to be the best depth trolling a bottom bouncer with a walleypop or wedding ring setup. In the colder months theyre generally in the deeper channels and trolling in reverse often works best (low and slow) BC38 makes a good point jigging out of an anchored boat produ...

Re: Pitbull/Aggresive Dog Traps?
a tub of antifreeze seems to do the job best just make sure any animal not targeted stays clear of it. Antifreeze has a sweet sugar water like taste. if all else fails I recommend a 177-22 call pellet gun right behind the ear... "you only gotta hang mean bastards... but means bastards you gotta han...

Re: Pitbull/Aggresive Dog Traps?
That is true it is a lot of pain. I've had one of my own dogs fall victim after we swapped a log skitters radiator and left a bucket of antifreeze out after draining the system. I also still bare the scars on my left leg from a half feral pit bull that chewed on it when I was 10 years old almost 13 ...
