Plastic/composite lowers

Some years ago plastic/composite lowers were super cheap, there was a panic going on, and I purchased one. I'm pretty sure it's junk, but I was considering a pistol build and I already have it. It's light if nothing else.

Did anyone ever run them much, and what were your experiences?

Thanks guys

Re: Impending Washington state gun legislation

I cant comment as to the date, but here is a super easy way to spam your State legislators with a prewritten letter.

https://act.nraila.org/default.aspx

It took me like a minute.

Impending Washington state gun legislation

I am surprised that I have not seen any threads about the upcoming gun legislation here in Washington state. I know that not all of you may be fans of one gun shop or another, but Sharp Shooting recently put out an alert on their Facebook. Here is the text I copied : The Senate Law & Justice Committ...

Fill in the "optional" social security number portion. It helps identify you.

Re: Little help hunting caliber

I haven't looked into it at all, but my gut reaction to a necked up .308 being ballisticaly equivalent to a 7 mm magnum is B.S. Particularly when you consider that the necked down .308 known as the 7mm-08 is nowhere near the ballistic equivilant of the 7 mm magnum. How does a larger diameter bullet ...

gps instruction

Are there any sources of GPS and navigation instruction in the area? I have been playing around with a new one and I am getting it, but they are complicated these days and I am sure there is more and that I could run it with better proficiency.

Do you have a paypal or square cash or the like setup for donations? The easier you make it the better.

Best online shot show coverage?

What is the best online coverage of the shot show? Who tends to showcase the good new stuff that a lot off the others overlook?

Easy to deal with, prompt and communicative

I have done a few other deals on here and hadn't followed through with feedback as I hadn't noticed the section at the time. Sorry to those guys. Overall the site and its members have been good deal wise.

Did the ATF rule against sig's design? I know that the MPX c was introduced last year and still hasn't hit the market....

Re: Hard to believe

Having shot quite a few of those subsonic 60 gr. .22 lr's I would advise against their use in that environment. They tend to ricochet more often than the high velocity rounds, and they penetrate deeply. It was very common during informal plinking to hear the 60 gr stuff whirring loudly away after ha...

Re: Suppressor/SBR Question

I recall seeing a sbr brought up to legal length with a permanently attached monolithic core suppressor. The shell came off for service, and the mono core was attached to the barrel. In fact, I am pretty sure I saw something about a factory offering in just that configuration. Sold without the shell...

Re: What optic for my AR

you will definitely want the 1-4x magnification for 3 gun. Burris offered a scope in that category for about $300 at one time, but they have changed their lineup since then and I don't know if they still have that price point. there are a couple cheaper, and quite a few that are far more expensive bu...

Re: FA parts in an ar

In the past I have heard it advised that you don't want to risk even one FA part in an AR, yet it seems lately that the only BCG's I see available are FA parts. Where do things like that stand legally? Auto BCG are completely legal. They do not allow an AR15 to operate as a FA rifle by themselves. ...
