Re: USCCA vs NRA Carry Guard

I honestly think that carrying insurance on your firearms that protect you in case of their use is a good idea. Unfortunately theres not much information out there about how effective it is, but for the low cost of coverage I think even if its not all its cracked up to be it would be worth it. Also ...

Re: Alien Gear holsters?

I cannot recommend them enough, the product is great, also for us in Spokane theres no reason to order online. I walked in to the factory (old outlet malls at Post Falls), and in 20 min. I had a holster. I asked about this and they said they prioritize walk in customers. The people who work there we...

Re: Pocket guns

My absolute favorite pistol is my SIG P238. Im a big time pocket pistol guy and have carried them all, I settled on the SIG. Its accurate, reliable and it also satisfies my inner 1911 guy. The pistol really jives with me, and I have about 2700 rounds through it, no issues other than can be attribute...

Re: Advice for holding our government accountable (CPL Issue)

Im honestly not expecting anything to happen. I just feel it is important for citizens to point out the faults of government when there is an indisputable violation of the laws they are charged to uphold.

Re: Advice for holding our government accountable (CPL Issue)

Here is the body of the letter I am considering sending. I would like input on ways to improve this before I send it. Dear sir or ma’am This letter is in reference to a recent concealed pistol license I completed. The staff I interacted with were professional and friendly, they answered any question...

Re: Undergunned?

Thanks, im the kind of guy that, though I have some training and a fair amount of trigger time, always tries to avoid any kind of potentially violent confrontation. I was content to let the people yell in my front yard while I gave dispatch a play by play until the police got there. But I will say h...

Re: Undergunned?

My wife and I recently had a similar situation happen, big argument woke us up, there were 4 people in our front yard yelling. I retrieved my pistol, called 911 and observed the happenings. I did feel undergunned having only a sub compact 380 in my hand, but as soon as I saw my wife holding a rifle ...

Re: Advice for holding our government accountable (CPL Issue)

Well I just got a call from SPD records, they told me my CPL was processed and mailed out and I should see it this week. So as far as getting it, and the folks who work there Im happy. However this does mean they took longer than state law requires, what if anything would be reasonable to do for thi...

Advice for holding our government accountable (CPL Issue)

So I let me CPL laps and had to complete an initial application again (I know Im dumb). Anyway my issue is they told me it would take up to 60 days, a clear violation of state law. Well I didnt say anything at the time because I figured if I got the new CPL in the required 30 days its not an issue. ...

Re: Mossberg 590 Shockwave

There was a bit of a run around on this guy over on AR15.com in the WAHTF. General consensus was that since the receiver has never had a shoulder stock on it its legal, same case as AR and AK pistols, so long as a shoulderable stock never touches the receiver youre good to go. However I think its st...

What about state pre-emption? Isnt it illegal for a municipality to forbid firearms from a place not on the state forbidden list?

Re: Just curious?

I had a Taurus PT111, shot 1500 rounds of Wolf 9mm in one sitting, got so hot I couldnt touch the slide, only thing that happened was about round 800 I had to start thumping the back of the slide to get it fully into battery. It never failed to fire or extract. I honestly have no issues with them.

45 for tradition, 10mm for slightly better performance. Thats how I would break it down. That said I would got for 45acp, simply because its a JMB invented round, and I kinda like that guys work.

Re: Another backdoor way to restrict 2A rights

I dont see what the fuss is about honestly. It has always been a law that you cannot purchase if youre an addict essentially. Its also been proven time and time again that people who are addicted to substances weather legal or not have clouded judgement. I believe the founders want those of us who a...
