Re: How to show proof you’ve taken a firearm safety course?
Look at your certificate, mine says it's valid for 5 years. FFL want's the date issued and the company that provided the training. That's it. You show it get get the info and add it to your paperwork, and give you the certificate back.

Two months ago, wife and I were at Stateline Walmart, I saw a Henry 22LR and had it locked up in the truck before the wife was finished shopping!

You can also check in with Matt Whaley at Whaley Precision Rifles in CDA. He did an amazing job on my R700SPS and Lantac Dragon.

Re: CWL (CWP) Online Application - Fingerprints Rqd ?
You shouldn't need fingerprinting if you are renewing. Submit a scan of your DL and expiring CPL is all you need for identification. It comes in the mail just like a regular letter in business sized envelope with the Spokane Police logo addressed to you. New CPL inside with nothing else.

Re: How Long CWL Renewal happening ?
You should receive a postcard reminding you to renew around the 90 day mark, at least I did. I had read on here that they were offering renewals online through the SPD website. Rummaged through a couple of threads on SGT and found the website. Did my renewal online, 12/30. Even through the New Year ...

Re: Firearm brace question
So, if you already have the "AR pistol", who is going to be completing an assessment to determine if you need a stamp or not? I'm not sure how this is going to work. In my mind, I would think you could perform your own assessment and determine if changing a specific part or removing an accessory mig...

The ONLY places I open carry are at the range or when I'm in the woods.

Matt Whaley (Whaley Precision Rifles) did a Rem 700 SPS for me a few years ago. He did a very nice job and the cost was very reasonable.

Re: REVISED: Washington Large Capacity Magazine Ban Starts 7.1.2022
Would this preclude me from buying +5 extensions for my already owned Glock mags? Good question... So, after 7.1.2022 this definition would apply and buying an extension kit that makes an existing mag of 10 rounds or less, more than 10 rounds, would not be legal in my option. If you already had the...

Re: Baofeng handheld comms
I was just given a Baofeng and have not the first clue on how to program and use it or what I would want to use it for lol I am new to the whole idea of "prep" Which model of radio did you get? Programming is pretty easy for our area. You'll probably want to see if it's repeater capable, and if so,...

I had Rick (the Glock Doc) do one of mine a few years ago. I was in an out in about 10 minutes. Might check with him or Scott at Firearm Finishing and see if they have lead times or not.

So where do you go on a early Sunday morning when you finish a build and have a serious trigger malfunction? To see Jason of course. Thanks for accommodating me this morning! You are one of SGT’s greatest assets.

Re: Question about a P80 build
That doesn't seem to bad at all. And it'll work with a GST9 as well. If you're going to a G17 then you'd want the longer grip piece instead of the shorter one which is G19 length.GlocksRfun wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 5:48 pmDo you guys think this a good deal/option for completing my build?

Re: Question about a P80 build
I would recommend the GST9 over the PF940 kits. The recoil spring area to be cleared is at the very front nose of the frame on the GST model instead of an inch-and-a-half down inside it. It was definitely easier to work the GST9 frame for me. If you use a pair of nippers, getting the majority of the...
