CMMG 22LR conversion kit

Anyone tried this?

$175 shipped and since Bi-Mart has all the 22LR I'll ever need, I thought why not...
3 mags but no charging handle. I'll try with mil-spec CH and buy theirs if jam-o-magic.

Sig P229 Elite value?

Have a line on a Sig P229 Elite 9mm with threaded barrel.
Very dirty, some muzzle holster wear, night sights are dead, older, date not known (I forgot to note the s/n or take a pic)
He's asking $750, I am thinking $550.
Thoughts?

Ya, but which one??
I love my blued one, if that helps. :)

Blued it was.
Pachmayr wrap grips on the way, maybe a wider spur hammer too. +1 to Sportsman's for having a lost leader in stock.

Remington 1911 @ Sportsman Warehouse

Any one going to pick up one of these R1 5" 1911's in the ad for tomorrow - 5/15.
$399 for blue and $449 for SS (after $75 rebate).
Salesman said they had ten of each for tomorrow when the sale starts.

Price seems decent, but I wish it was for a commander model.

Re: anyone have an 80% jig I can rent soon?

It's the Stealth jig from http://www.stealtharms.net/shop/
I bought my lower from them, it says universal, but 80% means different things to different shops.

I've got a jig, can't remember the brand (I'll post tomorrow). If you're ordering, let me know and we'll work something out.

Re: Ruger Charger, new versions

Frank got me too... :D :D On the bi-pod - In the marketing picture they look the same, but the take-down bi-pod looks different than yours and the marketing material? I think I will scope it. Are the BSA Edge series any good? http://i60.tinypic.com/neucxy.jpg http://i61.tinypic.com/30uyccy.jpg

Frank and crew had what I wanted and got me home on time! (Actually an even better model with zero BS).
Great group to work with and I'll be back.

Pretty cool. White Elephant on Div. had one a few years ago and I've never seen a reasonable priced one since.

Re: i594 - Here comes the NRA

I guess I have to eat my electronic words... My conversation was with an FFL Firearm retailer who first called the DOL to find out Wa. State requirements for private individuals who come in wanting a transfer under i594. The woman who answered hung up on him when he stated it was in regard to i594. ...

i594 - Here comes the NRA

Rumor has it that at 0900 hours tomorrow the NRA is going to file an injunction against i594. They had to wait for two things. The law to be in effect and the court to be open. They knew they couldn't beat KingCo. libs in the polls so they decided to focus our money in the courts and tie it up. Per ...

Re: I-594 & Taxes

B-bum is right. I learned the hard way. I couldn't find a gun locally and bought it on g-broker. After paying a $25 transfer fee and the 9% use tax, I should have waited the 3 days and let Frank @ P-First order it.

And yes under 594, use tax applies. Read ALL 18 pages. I did.
