Tum tum range closing to firearms

Post by crazyjoe » Mon Jan 30, 2017 5:51 pm

I went out shooting just this last Sunday saw a new sign posted with a guy holding a gun in a circle and a line through it looks like we've lost another range it has a bag on it for now but I assume that bags coming off and enforcement will happen soon.
Does anybody know more about this sign or the situation of shooting out there

My advice to everyone stop giving people range locations or it will just get worse

its really to bad that fellow gun owners can be such disrespectful morons, to a point where they close a shooting spot... :x

Ya, that seems like a really good plan!! Let's discourage people from taking their kids or friends out shooting. Let's make sure that we keep this sport from growing and make sure that we don't spread the fun of an amazing sport. Maybe if we keep all of these new people from learning to shoot or wanting a gun of their own they will leave us few privileged ones alone and let us shoot wherever we want? Or maybe there won't be anyone in a few years that care enough to matter and they can just have our guns and we won't need anywhere to shoot?

Double edged sword.
It's unfortunate that so many have succumb to the propaganda and new age terrorism. Most of you believed the 2nd amendment gave teeth to our ability to fight for our rights. Now through coercion on a massive scale, you want to restrict our freedoms because of your fear.

Cheers to the Trump years! Here's to hoping justice returns to the land and we get 4 more!

I don't use those ranges, in fact I don't even know where it is.

With that being said, instead of making an assumption about losing the range why not make a few phone calls and find who did it and why. Maybe it was just a nearby resident putting up his own sign hoping you guys will not bother finding out what is really going on. Hey, it's a thought. ;)

The area is not closed. It does get closed from time to time during fire season. The sign was covered up for a reason.

First off you know nothing about me so I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion? Secondly it's not your property it's public land , if you want to keep everyone out buy a piece of land of your own, post it and you will have no need to share with anyone.
Rest easy, sleep well my brothers

I've always understood ignorance to not have the vocabulary or intelligence to have a conversation without resorting to this sort of intolerant behavior? Take it for what it's worth, I'm not sure why you care about chiming in on the public ranges since you have made it clear now that you have no use for them. Have a nice evening :D
