I am looking for a safe and reliable way to store a pistol in my vehicle. i have purchased a console vault, and my first idea was to mount a blackhawk holster with their interchangeable backing plates. After purchasing the plates it is much bulkier than i had intended and would limit the opening to the console even more. My new idea is to use some strong magnets to hold the pistol to the vault. My intentions are to carry while driving, but have a safe alternative for when/where I need to leave the pistol.
Thoughts?

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

My truck has a arms rest that folds down, I sewed a cheap nylon holster to the seat cover, with the arm rest down the 1911 is hidden from view
