Here we have a nicer Winchester M1 Garand produced in September of 1944 just in time to finish out World War II in the open fields of Europe or the sweaty confines of the South Pacific. Interesting history on this one, probably used WWII, Korea and then perhaps even with support troops in Vietnam. It was refurbished in 1965 at the US Army's Red River Army Depot most likely in preparation for use in Vietnam with indigenous troops. Next it turned up at the CMP facilities in Alabama and given a new stock and once again gone thru. Muzzle is a 1+, throat is a 2+ meaning it would be an accurate shooter and quality firearm, not to mention super collectible. $1759
