Ha Ha, did that already, guess I should have been more specific, was thinking of local sources, and keeping my dollars local.

Problem with Bulldog, and I own 2, is this, they plastered their company logo on the bags, might as well carry a banner stating I am packing.

Good idea BB, when people ask me what is in the bag I tell them I have IBS, and the bag holds my meds, rubber gloves, a change of shorts, and baby wipes.

I almost needed a baby wipe for my screen and a change of shorts myself after reading that lol

Fanny pack.. Just say no! When I see a fanny pack on a guy it's one of two things. He's either gay or packing. Usually packing.

Not sure about a full size 1911, but I sometimes use a fanny pack per say. When living in Europe and partying in Prague and other high pick pocket cities, I got used to carrying cash and passport in one of those flat in the pants fanny packs. When I moved to WA, I just started putting my gun in it. I know most of my guns fit in it, but I don't know about yours, and it still fit in your pants and nobody knew you were wearing a fanny pack. Also, at a restaurant, it was more comfortable than a holster in the front.

Gun fanny packs have one problem. They typically look like gun fanny packs.

Here's a video about taking a normal fanny pack and modifying it to carry a gun.

All fanny packs look like a gun is in there. Any time I see someone with a fanny pack I assume they have a gun in it. Heck if you want people to know you got a gun then just open carry. The same people that assume you just have no style are the same people that miss the open carry completely or just assume you are a cop.

I disagree, only looks like a gun is in there, to fellow gun guys, and gals. The unknowing, still don't know, they haven't the foggiest idea. I tell people I have intestinal problems, when they ask, and that the bag contains, shorts, rubber gloves, and medication. I tried the Bulldog gun bags, they wear through within weeks.

A gun in a fanny pack is a bad idea. If you ever had to use your gun in a defensive scenario the judge may rule that you bated in the attacker by appearing to be an all too easy target! :):):)
But seriously. No.
