Range bags and storage/concealment

Post by .308milspec4572 » Mon Feb 18, 2013 6:04 pm

I know every one has a range bag, or most every one. Just curious if there are any improvements that could be made, or things you guys would change if you could. What would be the perfect bag for what your uses are. Is there a size preference? Do you use it for ammo and mags? Hand gun storage, or an all in one rifle, ammo, pistol, mag, tool kit/cleaning kit ect.

I am also looking for input on concealment bags/packs. How many of you guys use or would be interested in using a concealment bag? What would you guys like to see in one. Would it be something you can use for other items, have one pouch for a firearm and mags and the rest for personal storage like paper work books laptop ect.

I am trying to get some design ideas for civilian uses, also would colors be a factor for some. I think OD, FDE, Camo ect. can draw attention and raise eyebrows.

For me the concealment factor would be a waste. By the time I haul all my stuff out to the truck, all my neighbors know what I'm up to. My range bag is a big Bulldog XL DX, my SKB black rifle case. Choices and options are good but concealment wouldn't be one for me.

I use a big tool box as a range bag. It doesn't look like anything special, and doesn't draw attention from neighbors etc.
Kill em and grill em, whack em and stack em
