Hello all,
Does anyone have a working knowledge of gunfightersinc.com and there holsters? I am looking at the kenai chest holster for fishing and other outdoor activities. It seems a bit pricey at $150 but does get good reviews.
Thanks

I don't know anything about gunfighter, but I have two Diamond D chest holsters. They are comfortable and work well.

I used a Blackhawk SERPA on my IOTV.

Looked about like this.

X2 in the Diamond D holsters. I also have 2, One for my 4" 45acp and one for my N framed S&W 6 " 41 mag. Both can be worn as a chest rig or a shoulder rig. Chest rig is great for hunting , hiking, back packing, horse or atv riding, or driving in general. Never gets in the way. The one for my 45 acp also carries my ruger 22/45.

I have the Kenai setup for my Ruger Alaskan and I think it is one of the best chest rigs out and the company really cares about its customers . I use it for hunting and backpacking. It holds tight against my chest and doesn't interfere with backpack straps or firing a rifle. If you do end up getting one, I recommend emailing Woody at Gunfighter or put in the comment section when ordering, that you want an extra strap to hook to your belt. It definitely helps when drawing your gun so that the holster doesnt pull up. I called them when i ordered and they did it for no charge.

Well I went with the diamond D, I had a coupon at cabelas I used to make it less than I could have got the kenai rig for.
Will see how it works out and how it holds up.
Thanks for the input

Ha... when you said chest rig, I was thinking tactical, not hunting. :D

For something a little more concealable and useful for carrying other gear I prefer Hill People Gears Kit bags

Funny that both were mentioned here. I actually use the gunfighter inc Kenai rig and a hill people gear chest rig in unison when working mountain operations for sar and Leo functions. Two excellent pieces of gear. Highly recommended.
