Depends on what you use the rifle/pistol for...Lot's and lot's of options.

You can 't go wrong with Geissele, they make something great for every application.

I personally have drank the koolaid on Hiperfire triggers. But a nice 2 stage like a Geiselle would be the next best on my list.
It's unfortunate that so many have succumb to the propaganda and new age terrorism. Most of you believed the 2nd amendment gave teeth to our ability to fight for our rights. Now through coercion on a massive scale, you want to restrict our freedoms because of your fear.

Cheers to the Trump years! Here's to hoping justice returns to the land and we get 4 more!

I just installed a Larue MBT 2 stage and it is an excellent trigger. Super clean break. They were just on sale at Larue for $99.

I have 2 LaRue triggers and 1 Geissle and I can’t tell the difference. But the LaRue triggers are half the price and built like a tank!

I purchased a couple of POF 3.5 lb. triggers to put in my Spikes ST22 AR's. I had tried other "modular" triggers and variations of hammers & springs in them and had problems with them not hitting hard enough to fire .22 rimfire. The POF triggers worked so well I ended up putting them in a couple of other AR pistols and rifles. They were on sale around Christmas at Joe Bob Outfitters & Primary Arms for $99 which included a set of KNS anti-rotation pins. Looks like they are back up to $140-$150 now.

Thanks everyone for the input! I appreciate it! I think I am deciding between the cmc 2 stage or the hiperfire 243G or possibly the LaRue MBT 2.

I have a rifle which came with a Geissle and not nearly as happy as with the LaRue. +1 for the LaRue. When they are not on sale, they are $125 and come installed in a platform which you can use for dry fire practice and view how the trigger works whether they are on sale or not. Best trigger for the buck.

I run the Hiper Fire 24e in my 6.5 grendel set up at 2.5 and love it.

I put a 2.5lb Timney in an couple of AR's for about $110 ea. They worked suppurbly. Cheap fix for a garbage bushmaster trigger.

I have a Rock River 2 stage match ($85) and it's been awesome. Super clean pull and a great brake. I also have 2 Lantac CMC 3.5lb single stage triggers($100 on sale) and I love them. One in a AR10 and one in my soon to be built AR15. Almost no creep, like 1mm and that's it. The break is like a glass rod. They are drop in triggers and mine came with pins that you bolt together so they won't walk out. Lastly for a pistol build I have, it has a PSA enhanced polished mil spec tirgger($40). It's the heaviest trigger I have but it's not bad, 6.5lbs or so. But it is super smooth, no grit and a clean break. I feel it's nearly perfect for a pistol build and a great step above a standard mil spec trigger and for the price I wouldn't buy anything else that I was budgeting on.
