Are these any good? Thought about buying one for a knock around.

Re: RUGER AR15
I have owned several (still have 3).
They are great little lightweight rifles for the money!
If you can get a good deal, I wouldn't think twice about buying another one!

599 bucks most places and they weigh nothing. Double Eagle on Francis has them in green for 619.

Re: RUGER AR15
If you shop around, You can get them around $570ish
I have shot the hell out of mine with no issues. They come with BUIS, magpul syle (not magpul but similar) grips and a Pmag. the hand guards are skinnier too which I think makes them more comfortable to handle.
All in all, great little rifles for plinking/defense.

Dang that is cheap and they have forward assist with a dust cover. I am buying one for backpacking due to weight.JeremyD wrote:If you shop around, You can get them around $570ish

Re: RUGER AR15
I have one I bought for a gift but haven't been able to shoot it. It's a decent rifle but does have a cheaper feel to it. But except for the FSB and the plastic screw down delta ring it's pretty solid. I paid $595 IIRC from Precision Combat. Mine has a 1/8" barrel and I think that's why they show a bit better accuracy than some of the other budget ARs. It's a good value for the money.
