JM stamped Marlin 1894PG 44 magnum

Post by cycletool » Mon Mar 31, 2025 7:41 am

20” barrel, JM stamped. Made from 2003-2004. This is a fairly rare version of the common English stocked standard 1894. This has a very low round count. The wife bought it in 04 to use as a brush hunting gun but couldn’t bring herself to carry it and damage the finish. Less than 50 rnds down the pipe. Some small dings from safe wear.

The top plug screws are scratched due to removal for use of the scout rail. See pictures. These commonly sell for $1500-$2000 on gunbroker, depending on condition. In this condition with the scout rail I’m asking $1650. Buyer pays transfer. IM is best.

Could you please post a picture of the left side of the barrel where it has the model designation stamped into the barrel? I have never heard of a PG suffix but marlin made some weird stuff.
